Air Conditioning

Good evening,
We have had our 2001 Montana 3255RL for 2-1/2 years and I have not cleaned the air conditioner's cooling fins, etc. Should I remove the cover or simply hose off the fins? If I hose off the fins, will the water make its way through the inside portion and end up in the camper? Is there any other routine maintenance that needs to be performed? Thank you!

I would blow them out with compressed air instead of water.

If you do clean the cooling fins and remove the cover be sure to be careful when doing so because mud-dobbers and other wasps like to build nests under the covers. As DQ stated use compressed air if possible to clean the fins.

I appreciate the help. Thanks, guys. As a pest control technician, I have access to very quick knockdown spray, but it's always nice to be forewarned. Especially 12 feet off the ground! Thanks!
