Bathtub

Has anyone replaced their shower floor with a bathtub, still keeping the shower? I suspect re-enforcing the flooring would probably be required. I'm thinking about getting a company like Bath Fitters to check this idea out. We full time in our 2017 Montana 3661RL and relaxing in a tub after a long hike would be wonderful. our 3661RL is 40 feet longer with five slides. Thanks.

We thought about a portable hot tub but it would be one more thing to haul around. Good thought though, thanks.

I don't think the portable hot tub would take up any more space than the extra water heater to fill an on board one?

I got the tub in mine, For the wife perfect, me not so much. I’m 6’5”, I can get in and out but my knees are bent lol. Not worth it for me. Just switch to a tankless water heater but then you have to figure out the hot cold sandwich when showering!! One solution creates more problems.

Tub

We were trying to figure out how to do this to our previous RV Laredo 330RL travel trailer. I searched for small tubs. But the project was going to be tough relocating the tub drain and cutting the glass shower doors off short. A curtain would be easier by far. Then we found the 3921FB. Problem solved.

I noticed the manufacturer’s sticker in the shower and the tub (pic below). All of my searches never found these guys...Patrick industries. They make units for RVs. You should call them and see if they have a tub - or a deeper shower pan - that will work for your unit. Unfortunately my pic did not turn out vert good.Attachment 3954
