Anyone know the difference between the Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service Plan and the Good Sam Continued Service Plan? Does anyone have either plan and please give me the pros and cons to them?

We have the Emergency Road Service and would not be without it. TV, any other vehicles you have and even rentals when you use them for things like lockouts, gas, towing, no start, etc. I have used it several times and have always been pleased with the results. Even in my own driveway to change a tire in a snowstorm. Have no cons at this time.
On edit: We also have the Continued Service plan with GS but have not used it yet so do not have an educated opinion.

The road service is just that -- road service. It is to render assistance when you are in transit. The Continuing Service Plan is very much like an extended warranty. It is designed to cover the repair of your rig after the original warranty expires.

There are three different instruments that Rvers sometimes get confused:

• Road service -- for emergency conditions such as flats or breakdowns while in transit -- will not repair rig, just tow it to a service provider.
• Service policies (Extended warranties) -- designed to repair RV systems according to the contract should something break, i.e., A/C, Landing gear, etc.
• Insurance -- provide recovery for losses like windstorm, fire and collision

These instruments are not over lapping. In my opinion, all three are needed to handle normal risks associated with RV ownership.

What Stiles said, and will add that they each of the 3 instruments do not need to be from the same source.
I have Good Sam Emergence Road Service,
Extended warranties through my RV Dealer,
Insurance through my auto/home insurance company.
This in not a recommendation, just explaining how I have it set up.
