Our little Roscoe is gone

I was sleeping when I heard what sounded like someone coming in our front door. I came out to find that Roscoe was having an epileptic type seizure. I rushed him to the vet but where was nothing they could do. They said they really couldn't say for sure what happened.

Since he was almost 15 years old we decided we didn't want him to suffer. He has gone to join his big brother.

Mary Kay & Dennis, my heart goes out to you. I am SO sorry. I know some day I may have to make a choice for my 12 y/o Shih Tzu, Ko-Ko. I also have a 3 y/o Keesha and 7 y/o Keegan. They are like our kids so we understand your loss. It hurts SO bad. Roscoe will always have his special place in your heart held just for him. I pray for comfort for you in your loss.

I'm so sorry to hear of your great loss, but glad to know that he had a lot of years with you. I hope that our dogs (now 6 1/2) will be able to enjoy a long life like your Roscoe did. Hugs...

So sorry to hear you have lost a family member. It is so difficult to make that decision, even when you know it is for the best. I do believe that we will be seeing our four legged companions later on down the trail.

You have our deepest sympathies on the loss of Roscoe. We just recently lost our Oreo Baby Kitty and know exactly how you are feeling. Making the euthanization decision is probably the hardest decision any of us ever make. Our pets are our children, especially for us empty nesters. The hole in your hearts will get smaller as time goes by, but the memories will live on forever.

I had to make that decision twice in 4 months for my kitty and little dog. Very hard. I don't want to go through it again. But since I love animals and have two cats and a dog, I know I will have to.
He's made that trip over the bridge and is with all his four legged friends.

Dennis and Mary Kay,

I'm so sorry for you, there's not a tougher decision to have to make but I'm sure you made the right one. Even so, it doesn't ease the pain.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss and I know it is harder even still because this is 2 close together. Our Danny (15) had the same thing and Ed had to make that decision alone 2 years ago. Here's a big hug.

Dennis and Mary Kay: I'm soooo sorry to hear the news, and I feel your pain too. It is so hard to say good bye to our fur kids, but know you did the right thing for him. Breezee sends her special condolences and will miss following him around the campground.
Hugs,
Sharon, Bob, Breezee. TzuZoo, and Doc

Dennis and Mary Kay, I heard Sharon's cry from the other room when she read about Roscoe and knew something bad had happened. We will miss Roscoe, and Breezee will, too. We share at least some of your loss and understand the grief that comes with it. Our thoughts are with you.

Dennis and Mary Kay, we are so sorry to hear that you lost your last little guy. We feel your pain as we remember how awful it was during the last days of our dear Bridgette's life. Greta has done a good job of filling that empty hole in our heart. Maybe there will be a little Roscoe in your future. Hugs.

Isn't that beautiful. Someone sent that to me when my little Sammy left us.
