LED Light Upgrade

If any of you are looking to upgrade your interior 12-volt lights to LED's, MOC's are fortunate to have a fellow member like Michael Taylor at Filament Free LEDs (http://www.filamentfree.com) to rely on. I originally ordered 10 LED bulbs to see how I liked them. The light was equal too, if not a slight bit stronger than the bulbs I replaced. After installing them today I was so pleased i order 22 more to finish the job. I was not aware that Filament Free LEDs offer 20% discounts to MOC members so I did not mention my membership in my order. A few hours after I placed the order I received notification the bulbs had shipped. Then within an hour of that notification they notified me that they had identified me as a MOC member and would be issuing a 20% credit to my credit card. They did not have to do this as I had not identified myself as a MOC member at the time of order. I think it speaks volumes for the quality of Michael and his organization. It is definitely the type of firm I want to do business with.

All of us who've done business with Michael and Kat have appreciated both the product and their professionalism.

I quadruple DITTO the liking of Michael and Kat's product! We too switched out EVERY bulb in our rig and couldn't be any happier!!! It was amazing the amount of light we get out of those low wattage bulbs!!! I was going to make a huge post about it with my excel spreadsheet comparing our original lighting to the new wattage but I haven't had a chance yet.

We ordered 10 LEDs from Michael and Kay also to try them out. Very pleased with them. They are just a little brighter than the incandessant bulbs. I want to get more in the near future.

About a week later I found a secret sale at camping world. They had a double pancake led fixture with 3 position switch ( one light, two lights, off) that looked very simialer to our stock fixtures for $19.95 (reg price $60.00). I wanted a complete fixture to instal in the front storage area were the was no light installed. The deal was so good I picked up 4 fixtures because I was so impressed with the led,s I got from Michael and Kay. I installed one of the fixtures under a cabinet to see how they worked (5 minute job). The fixture is pretty nice but, the led,s are not.
The light is more blue and pretty harsh. I was / am a little dissapointed. Not sure if I am going to return the other 3 fixtures or change out the led,s in them.

I will never again buy LED's from any source other than Micheal and Kay ever again.

GREAT product!!!!!!!!!!!! Resolved problems my previous LEDs (different supplier)created with off-air television problems. Colour is great!!!! The "wedge ultra bright 15" is a great alternative for areas requiring "mood" lighting. Received the 20% discount and it was greatly appreciated.

We have a 2009 Model 3455 and would like to order LED replacement bulbs. However, the rig is in storage out of state and not sure which bulb to order. Appreciate any information on the exact replacement for our fixtures.

Mike & Kat, I am always passing your web site on to people I run into who are looking for LED bulbs at the camping store (Name left off on purpose) I work at. Do you have any business cards, or something like that, I could pass out for you?

Thanks, Scott

Whew had the same experience as dklose. Upon learning about the MOC discount, I called back and there was no hesitation to go back and credit my credit card with the 20%. They did not have to do that but that is how you make a customer for life and I, like others here , recommend them to anyone looking for LED's. The light is bright and much cooler than regular bulbs. I can not say enough good things about the product and the people.
Thank You!

Hi

I have nothing but good to say about Michel. I had sent him a note bragging about how I have one bulb that has been on since I purchased from him and when I said something about how the last when out in the sunlight he wanted to send me a replacement free of charge.

I refused because the bulb is still working today and now it has been burning in an outside clear socket without any protection from the sunlight for at least 2 years.

Phil P

PS: It stays on all the time because the switch to that light has quit working. LOL

After we finished changing all of ours over, my brother-in-law ordered and installed. Met another Montana owner headed to Alaska and they may also be ordering. I had my coach in for service for about four weeks. Forgot to turn off the scare light with the remote. They had no way of turning it off without the remote. They were amazed they didn't get hot. Counting on having good battery life while boondocking in Alaska. Love them so far.
