Water softener set up

***I posted this under the wrong thread and couldn’t figure out how to edit it. Sorry if you are seeing this twice. I will delet the other thread if I can figure it out. ***

Hello. I have a 2008 Keystone Montana 3400RL. I would like to install a water softener since I have hard water here in Texas. My issue is I use a Berkey for my drinking water. I can not fill my Berkey up with soft water because the salt will destroy my filters. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can bypass my cold water going to my kitchen faucet? Also I have whole house filters connected to RV. I would want the filtered water to go through the water softener as well. I am planning on storing everything in the basement next to the convenience center. I have searched the forum but haven’t come across a thread that deals with this. Just with water filter setup. Thanks!
