50 versus 30 amp cost?

syplace Montana Fan Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Onalaska Posts: 276 M.O.C. #1666	50 versus 30 amp cost? Lately we have been running into extra cost if we use 50 amp. Don't understand why since we pay for actual electrical meter usage? Since we only travel during winter it has not been necessary to use the A/C. But we have noticed that we can run the A/C on 30 amp, but not the microwave at the same time. So we adjust. So my question is why are the campgrounds charging more for 50 amp?
