Awning led rope lights

I have 2 awnings. Both light ropes have dark areas and are not very bright. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it? Had anyone actually replaced them? Thanks

I had that problem on my SOB and had to replace them it real Ez to do. You can go on line and find all sorts of LED lights for your rig just make sure the are 12 volt most of them have
sticky tape on the back to hold them on you connect the wires make sure to use heat shrink over the connections so they don't get water in them
