Infinity

They pulled in to show it to us, the factory folks that is. A Montana it is not. The floor plan was like our 3750 fl. The full body paint was nice. The lettering "Infinity" had air bubbles underneath. The sheet metal along the bottom of the body and around the fenders did not fit well, was wrinkled. The interior left a lot to be desired. It was pleather not leather. The living room TV was much smaller than the space provided. The a/c ducts for the living room were slots in a trim board bulkhead across the roof. The cabinets were nice but the finish was not the greatest. There were not as many cabinets as a Monty either. He made a big deal about the furnace not being under the fridge and the fridge easier to reach; I didn't fail to notice that the furnace was on the door side with exhaust under the awning in the patio area and I did make reference to it. The bedroom TV was smaller and the outside TV was much smaller than the cabinet. The basement was larger than the 3750. No Moryde pin box or suspension, although air born pin is optional. They are priced less than Montana as they should be. Aram has to go some to make them competitive to Montana.IMHO

Interesting. Sounds like Aram really does have his work cut out for him. Thanks for the report.

Aram will do just fine and we all know it, however, I look at the RV market from tag-alongs going to 5th wheel units and many will be "cheaper" to get the younger demographic into 5th wheels. The trucks are already waiting for those cheaper rigs and those trucks aren't all diesels.
just a thought...

No discredit to Aram meant. He's a nice guy, and will do we'll wherever he is. Just that the rep indicated that they hop to compete with #1 . Always difficult.

We also looked at that model recently Larry. How about that cheap stamped steel bracket holding the table to the wall like an RV design from the 70's or 80's? It looked so out of place.

None taken Larry. I really believe 150's or 1500's will be towing many of the new rigs coming off the line. We will still have the upper end units as well. Hope you're doin ok.
