New members from Arizona

Greetings, everyone!

My partner Dave and I started full-timing in May 2014, so we're entering our first fall/winter season. Really looking forward to getting you know you online, and hopefully connecting with you in person along our travels.

We're from beautiful southeastern Arizona. We're in our mid-30s, DINKs (dual-income-no-kids), and we both work full-time from our "home office" via the trusty Millenicom Jetpack and spotty park WiFi whenever we can get it.

I run a business called TypeWell (www.typewell.com), developing software and professional training to support people with hearing loss. Dave is an AutoCAD drafstman for a brilliant architect based out of MA (http://masielloarchitect.com/).

We do everything with and for our "kids" Buddy and Chaser, two amazing blue heelers, brothers, who love to hike, swim, fetch, wrestle, and eat. They just turned 2 and you can see their latest adventures and photos on our blog (link in my signature below).

Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge, wisdom, and experience. And thank you for allowing us to be part of this wonderful community.

We love it out here!

And here's what we all look like....

Your pictures, while quite nice, are too large given the MOC guidelines of 800 X 600 and have been changed to links. http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/...ad.php?t=59371 The excess size results in unnecessary left/right scrolling of posting text.

Welcome and you can see what many of us look like by attending the 10th Annual "Circling of the Montanas" in January at Quartzsite, AZ.

P.S. There is great 4G service from Verizon and AT&T in Q if you really have to work too.

Welcome to the forum, you'll find a great group of knowledgeable folks here ready and willing to help. We'll be working at Imperial National Wildlife Refuge north of Yuma this winter. If you're out that way stop by and say hi.

Welcome! My husband and I have been a member of the MOC for about 2 1/2 years and attended our first rally last month in Goshen, Indiana. I can honnestly say that you will probably learn more on this forum than you ever anticipated. There are so many tips and tricks to pick up on from this group. We learned so much and made some wonderful friendships at the national rally last month and I encourage you to attend if you have the opportunity. I can't say enough good things about all the people who were involved in planning and leading the rally. I think we were the youngest couple there (early - mid 50s) but we were very comfortable, felt welcome as "newbies" and enjoyed every minute. Maybe we'll meet some day!

Thank you all for the warm welcome. We love all the photos and stories too!

Where can we find the exact dates of the Quartzite Jan 2015 rally? I did a search but didn't come up with anything. (Trying to stick to the rule of "search before you ask"!)

You can find it here. http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/...ad.php?t=58311 We have 50-60 rigs dry camping in the desert. Some stay a few days, some a week or two. You are allowed to stay for 2 weeks at a time. If you go I guarantee you will have a good time. We arrive with empty waste tanks and full water tank. When the waste tanks are full a honey wagon will pump you for a small fee.

Aha! I had misspelled it as "quartzite" (like the rock, not the town). Thanks for the link!
