Congratulations two you both. Rosetta and I know you have been looking forward to this day and it is finally here. Take it easy and enjoy yourselves on your way back to Coloroda. Remember now you have six Saturdays and a Sunday. Everyday is a weekend. No need to be in a hurry to get anywhere. And I don't have to worry about moving my truck anymore wondering if you can get into your site at Goshen when you come in at 1AM. Again Congrats.

Do all you can, while you can. Have loads of fun and gather your memories. Some day it will end. So also design a gracious exit strategy for when you hang up your spurs.

Oh, from now on every day is Saturday. Having routinely traveled both local and distant while living for both work and home on the cell phone/computer it was a significant change. Now every day there is not a major issue someone needs solved, well maybe some issues will still need your attention. As the peaceful new existence settles in you may experience the phantom ring of the cell phone while flinching and the feeling of being out of the loop which is a good thing. Have fun and enjoy your retirement.

Thanks for the well wishes. We are looking forward to seeing many of our MOC friends along the road. We hope anyone heading through northern Colorado stops by for a visit. We will be at the Central Plains and Goshen Rallies. We'll be the ones begging for food.

Years ago, rames14 was a name I saw frequently enough with Monty related contributions but the thing that stuck in my mind was Ron is the spitting image of the best boss's boss I ever worked for and that was his name, too! He and I have been retired for some time and stay in touch. I recall how disappointed I was inside when I realized over time rames14 was not retired yet, but now working on it!

Congratulations rames14! It's about time! I think your posts are gonna be more fun with more time in the rig and more time on the road. You'll be a great one to meet around all these roads.

Ron played golf a lot. Do you? I told him I would never try it (I pictured me with a curved club in my hand a potential deadly weapon). But now that I started it up, I wish I had the courage earlier. I am pretty horrible but I keep trying. Another side story.

Bon Voyage to Ron & Terrie!

7 1/2 days left. On 4/26 we leave for home. Taking the long way. Hopefully we won't be fighting fires this summer. Planning on two rallies this year and then Alaska next summer. We will be getting things put away at the house between trips.

You need to order one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/DayClocks-Clas.../dp/B0019F9ITE

I received this as a retirement gift from a friend. I have since needed at least a couple of time. As someone mentioned prior, you know you're retired when you forget what day it is. We'll be watching as you fill in your map with places you've been.
