Cabinet above 3150 desk

Just wondering if anybody has installed any hardware to keep cabinet door open when using ..Since this is the desk I will be using my laptop and tablet here and storing in upper cabinet when in transit. Tried to put laptop in with one hand, almost dropped it, so grabbed before fall and cabinet door slammed into it....

This is no help, but we didn't like the "desk" so we took the chair away and put in an extra shelf below the top one. Put some non slip shelf liner on the new shelf and our printer rides great there. Also added an extra outlet under there for the printer to plug into.

I installed a strut on the door so it will stay open. Cost about $4.00 and was fairly easy to install. I assume we are talking about the cabinet above the desk? Not sure how you could put a laptop in there. Its a pretty small space. I can send photos if necessary.

denandannie,
Do you happen to know the size of that strut you used?

The strut is 6.25 inches long and I ordered it at Aventurerv.net for under $5. Package comes with two struts.

Our good friends and fellow MOC memebers installed a strut on their over the desk cabinet and then installed one on ours. Sounds like the same size mentioned in previous post. Took a few minutes to install and works great.
