Roof Coating

This is our first fifth wheel. It is new. Wondering if we should consider have one of the lifetime no leak guaranteed sprayed roof coatings put on while all is in mint condition?
If we do not have the aftermarket roof coating, what should we do to maintain the roof?
Thanks!

Save your money for other things. That roof won't need attention other than washing periodically for at least 10 years.

Don’t bother with a coating. Your roof will need nothing. If you wish and have nothing to do you can wash it. Or you could just take a nap in your camper.

Absolutely No need to do anything but get up there and inspect all the seams several times a year. If it makes you feel better, go ahead and clean it if you want. Just DO NOT use any cleaners with a petroleum base. They will attack the EPDM roofing material. Also be mindful that most cleaners will remove any wax from the side walls as you rinse down the roof.

Also, if you feel the need to wash it, don't use anything that smells like fruit. It's been reported that occasionally birds or squirrels will damage the roof looking for food.
