Interesting person

We were camping with friends this weekend at the RV Park at Emigrant Lake, Ashland, Oregon. It is lovely and peaceful this time of year before everyone arrives and it gets quite noisy in the summer months. We were sitting outside around the campfire at our site when a lady pulled up and got out with her camera. She gave us her card as she asked to take photos. She has a website for fulltimers. She has been in our area of Oregon for some time but had missed this park and wanted to include it. Thought you might be interested in her website:

Neat website!! We got much the same response from our friends, family and co-workers when we decided to start fulltiming (we're in our 30's and still work). Like most others, our friends thought we were nuts when we first described the new lifestyle. After they saw pictures of the rig and RV resort (or came by for a visit), they had a whole different take on the subject. We've had several who sat in our rig or slip, listening to the birds, saying, "Why aren't we doing this?!"

We were reminded just how liberating fulltiming can be when it took 6 months to sell the stick house. Cheryl and I have a VERY hard time envisioning a return to that life. We've been fulltime residents of our park for about a month, and we've already met more nice folks here than we did in 6 years in our old neighborhood. No question, RVers are a breed apart!
