Ford F250 (gas) 3.73 & a Montana?

I just purchased a Keystone Montana and will be purchasing a new truck in the near future. In the meantime it will be on my lot at the lake. My question is can my Ford F250 (gas) with a 3.73 pull this fifth wheel short distances? Not planning on using it to go cross country but perhaps to dealer etc...within a couple hours. I know it’s not ideal, and simply want to know if it will be able to pull it until I make a purchase on a bigger truck?
Thanks!

Carrying Capacity 3955
Hitch 2840

F250

I do pull a 3400RL across country with my F250 Powerstroke, and it does great. i know i am overweight, but I love my 7.3l and the truck. I take it easy, keep transmission and brakes in pristine condition and ensure trailer brakes are solid.
i also have airbags - help on the open road.

Yours is gas so it won't have the grunt of the Powerstroke but the truck will handle the weight if you take it easy and make sure your trailer brakes are near perfect. Check this yourself or with a reliable truck mechanic - i had an RV dealer check brakes and they said they were golden - I discovered the front axle did not even have power - a connection was pulled loose.

You won’t be pulling your camper far so you will be fine with your gasoline engine.

Which engine is in your truck? If it is the standard V8, you will be way over the GCWR of your truck with a Montana.

You will likely be illegal on weight but it will get it done with some moaning and groaning...
