Grand Kids

Told by my daughter
Quote:
quote:Michael Son-in-law: andrew do you want a french fry.
Andrew Grandson: my stomach says no thank you, but my taste buds say yes please. I dont know which one to listen too.

Michael hands him the french fry. He eats it.

Andrew: knew i should have listened to my stomach!!

We were at one of our granddaughters birthday parties today. As you have noticed there are few joys in life to compare with grandkids.

What is great is when an 18 year old grandson comes 150 miles to help you move large, heavy items into a new house and then gives you a hug.

I wouldn't trade my grandkids for anything in the world.

Sounds like Andrew is about 25, but I suppose he's not. Way too wise for his years, I think.

Cute story. Thanks for sharing.

Our grandchildren have either grown up past the "cute" stage or are 1100 miles away. However, our great granddaughter is only 5 blocks away and we get to watch her 2-3 times a week. She's 2 1/2 yrs old and sometimes acts much older. Each day we have her is another photo op and a posting on Facebook. One of the best parts is watching her and Chyanne, our border collie, play.

We are really enjoying ours also, 13, 10, 8, 4. The DW has a plaque in the kitchen with the following on it;
Grandkids are the reward you get
for not strangling your teenagers

My youngest son has a Passport TT. This weekend we have camped together at Myrtle Beach Travel Park. My other two sons came with their families. Fifteen people in two RVs. I wonder if I shall ever have so great an adventure again. Priceless!!! Love my family!!!
