freeze guard

as I can't go to texas this year I have to winterize for the first time, I have a 2008 3465 and have read and watched video on winterizing but have seen nothing on a system I have that is just above the fresh water connection called freeze guard winterizing system,it has it's own hose connection, would anyone know how to use this system. thankyou brian

Drain your hot water tank by removing the anode, and move the handle in the convenience center,to bypass. Connect the end of a short hose to that Freezeguard connetion, and put the other end in a bottle of antifreeze. Connect the outdoor shower hose to the black tank flush.I think there's a handle that you have to move to "winterize" so the pump will know to pump from the bottle. Open the faucets and commode, inside one at a time until they run pink. Don't forget the washer hookup. Turn on the outside shower and let the antifreeze run through the flusher until you see pink coming from the drain. The water pump will pump the antifreeze from the bottle. You just have to keep watch and change the bottle when it runs dry. Drain the low point lines, and the fresh water tank. You're all set. You'll need three to four gallons of antifreeze.I usualy do this on my last outing for the year, and use the campground sewer for disposal.

What Joe said. With a couple extra things.
I bought a 10' fresh water hose and cut it in half at an angle so it doesn't try to block flow when sitting on the bottom of the antifreeze bottle. One end I can use for the winterizing. The other I can use for the fresh water fill tube if I want, although normally I just use the Power Fill feature.
When I connect the hose to the freezeguard connection and put the other end in the antifreeze jug, I set the antifreeze jug inside the adjacent basement door so the pump doesn't have to lift the fluid as much.
I also sometimes have to open one or both of the low point drains after I turn on the pump to get flow started. Also, if you have trouble getting flow started, make sure your hose connection to the freezeguard connection is good. I sometimes have trouble getting it good and tight and the least little gap will allow air in and no fluid flow.
After starting the pump and getting flow thru the faucets, watch the jug as it can quickly empty a gallon jug of antifreeze and start sucking air.
