Toilet leaking in basement

Our black pipe from the toilet is showing some brown leakage with some drops on a plastic bag underneath the sewer pipe.

How does the toilet affix to the sewer pipe? Any ideas on an easy solution, or does it look like I need to take it to a dealer?

Michael,

I replaced mine in the 2003, and I believe it's the standard wax ring like a stick house toilet. Should be easy enough, as I replaced the entire toilet in about 10 minutes.

I did one on the old Fleetwood but it had a rubber seal. Either way...it is a DIY job if your a handy person.

I've replaced two in our Montana. It is held in place with two bolts. A rubber seal is used. Sometimes you can correct a small leak by tightening the nuts down at the base of the toilet. They are located on each side of the toilet.
