Help Removing Leaf Stains

We camped last weekend and were parked under a maple tree. It was a great weekend with our daughter, son-in-law and grandson.
It rained on Friday night and many wet leaves were on the top of the Monty. Went out today (a week later) to get the Monty ready to put into the RV garage for the winter. Went up on top to wash it and there were many, many leaf stains on the roof. I tried Dawn and scrubbed fairly hard and got very few of the stains off. Also tried Dryer sheets to no avail.

Any idea on what I can use on the rubber roof to get the stains off?

Bruce--- Don't worry about those prints of the maple leaves on the roof. Nobody sees them anyway, unless you invite them up to help wash your roof. Think of it as being a "one of a kind" with the camoflage look! Just don't use anything that has citrus oil in it to clean it! You won't have the camo look you'll have the woodpecker look cause those birds and squirrels really like the scent of citrus.
Hey, put the MOC Central Plains Rally to be held July 13th-18th, 2011 here in between Omaha and Lincoln, NE and we'll all try and figure out what can be done over a brewski or two!

Bruce, as you know we were in rainy Washington for 15 months. I did not wash the roof for the whole time plus several months before that. I was amazed at how effective the commercial roof cleaner I used was in getting the roof white again. It was "Best" brand roof cleaner. I also used their black streak remover with great success. The stuff was not cheap, but it worked.

Bruce, A quote from RV.net.
Q: Dicor’s Care & Maintenance instructions says you can use mineral spirits on stubborn stains. isn't mineral spirits a petroleum distillate?
A: Yes. But note the instructions say to use a cloth dampened with mineral spirits and then only to remove a stubborn stain; to never use a petroleum distillate (even a solvent as mild as mineral spirits) directly on the membrane, in a large area or allow it to soak in. In no way is "treating" the roof membrane with a product containing petroleum distillates recommended or condoned.
I have had to use this method on a couple of stubborn stains. Just dampen the cloth, rub the stain, then rinse immediately with lots of water. Can't tell any adverse effect on the roof. Jim

Thanks for the replys. I did buy the "Best" brand rubber roof cleaner and conditioner. It worked well even though it did still take a lot of "elbow" grease. It is now cleaned and ready for winter storage.

Rondo, it did look somewhat like a camo roof.
