Wear on both edges

Hi Everyone:

We picked up our new 2015 Big Sky 379RL last Saturday. I was so busy during the PDI that I forgot to crawl underneath and check things. The next day I noticed that all of the tires on the trailer including the spare are worn on both the inside and outside edges. I have contacted the dealer and sent them pictures. I expect them to replace all of the tires. My question is what would cause this kind of unusual wear? Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thank you,

Steve

If they are G614's, the outside and inside edges are slick. Made that way.

Hi Everyone:

Yes they are Goodyear G614RST's. Newbie with fifth wheel. Made the shift to Fifth Wheel from a Class A RV. Did not know they are made like that! Going through a learning curve here. Sorry about the dumb question. Feeling pretty foolish about now! Thank you all for your help and replies.

Regards,

Steve

No need to feel foolish. You're not the 1st (nor the last) to ask this question.

You will find that a number of things are different with a 5th wheel and some are even different with a Montana. There are no dumb questions only mistakes made by not asking questions. Don't be afraid to ask. All of us have been new at things a number of times in life and needed the help of others. Some, like me, still do.

Hi Everyone:

Thanks so much for the encouraging words. I do have a lot to learn with our new home. DW just loves it compared to our MH. I too love the room and comfort!

Regards,

Steve

Isn't it great to have a concern and find a solution so quickly? If it wasn't for common information on this forum I think most of us would have the same reaction upon inspection.

Enjoy your Big Sky, that is a lovely unit for sure!
