And we all wish you were here.

So far everything has come off just as planed and the weather, although just a bit warm and humid mid-day, has been BEAUTIFUL. The Meet and Greet Thursday night was terrific and it was great to see so many old faces that we met last year and many new faces. Old Faces They were mostly all OLD faces, even the new faces were old faces! Well there were some actual young faces there as well.
The Amish Meal last night (Friday) was every bit as good as last year with maybe the exception of the atmosphere. Last year we actually ate in the Amish family's home and even had a tour of their wagon wheel making business as well as a tour of the barn and other out buildings. This year the meal was served a building built for serving crowds of people. Last years family was very friendly where this years seemed a bit more business like. We came we ate we went home BUT the, in my humble (me humble) opinion, the food was GGGRRRREEAAAAT and the pies were delicious. I don't believe anyone went away hungry.
Also on Friday, the Keystone Customer Service folks did a great maintenance seminar and I was able get them to use my rig to demonstrate on. Problem is now I gotta go finish what he started. One thing that the Customer Service folks put a LOT of emphasis on was the absolute need to torque those lug nuts on the RV. They do have a DVD explaining the need to torque as well as the pounds of torque and the sequence of torqueing each lug nut. It was explained that this DVD will be mailed to all 2004 and newer Keystone owners. Will have to ask the question about the older units.
We also had a Mor-Ryde seminar and I did notice a rig getting a new Mor-Ryde pin box.

We did have bon fires both Thursday and Friday nights. Forget the meals and the seminars, those bonfires in themselves were more than enuff reason for me to attend a rally and we haven't even had the BIG bonfire yet. That comes tonight (Saturday). One thing I did notice last night. This MOC has a lot of winos. There were bottles of wine circulating most all night. Of course there were a few brown bottles drained as well. That Emmel even forced a couple of them brown bottles on me.

Today at 10 AM is the Montana plant tour.

There have been many, many pictures taken and hopefully the photographers will be getting some of those up soon.
