We lived in our fifth wheel fulltime in Alaska for a few years. Hence, Icehouse. Don't live in the Monty anymore, but still live in Alaska and still take her camping!

The Dukes is the name we use for ourselves as a Dutch Oven cooking team and on a couple of cooking forums, so it seemed natural to use it here also. Duke is our last name. Thought about using The Duke and The Duchess, but that was too long to type all the time!

If you were into cars in the 60`s then you had to know Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. He designed outrageous custom cars and characters like "Rat Fink" Still a favorite of mine at 56 years old!

Well being I started sailing in 1968 in a 12 sail boat and worked up to a 18' cataraman today and love sailing with Sharon , as we have so many sail boats around the house and pictures of sail boats my friends just started calling me sailer so I guess it stuck. I still love to sail but here in FL I have 2 bridges to dismast the boat and its too much work so now we are stink potters in boating , not rope jerkers as some call sailing.

I've owned several trailers so far, but the trailers that I am most impressed with are the 5er's. As they say, one you've tried one, you will never go back. The name "5 Wheeling" is just a reminder of what I am doing while tugging our 5er to our next adventure

Gorgeguy: I live in the scenic Columbia River Gorge. In fact I was one of the last people to be able to build before it became a National Scenic Area. It was 10 acre minimum zoning before and jumped to 160 acre minimum after it was official, we beat the deadline by a few months.

I raced oval track modified cars for 31 yrs around the midwest. In 1997 I won the State of Michigan title after competing against 100's of other modifieds. I was born in 49 and that was my car number. Thus Champ_49.
