Salt Lake City to Jackson, Wyoming

The wife and I will be traveling from SLC to Jackson, Wyoming tomorrow. The GPS is showing two routes: go north on I-15 to Idaho Falls and then east to Jackson..... or go east on I-80 to Evanston and then north to Jackson.

Anyone have a recommendation? And, what condition are the roads in?

We used I80. Good roads with no issues.

My info is a few months old. Google up the state abbreviation plus 511 for the most current road conditions. Try UT511 and WY511.
