Prayers Needed for Our Nephew
On Friday, Our Nephew was performing at a jazz festival at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. He's 15 years old. He took three steps and collapsed. Fortunately, one of the student's Mom is a nurse and began CPR almost immediately. Also, the paramedics were right across the street. They were able to get his heart started again but he aspirated vomit, so they are concerned with pneumonia as well. They air lifted him to Anchorage. He is still in a medically induced coma, since he is on a respirator. This young man was hoping to go to the Air Force Academy. Now he's fighting for his life. Blood gasses and heart rhythm seem to have improved greatly, so we are hopeful for a full recovery, but we won't know for a while. The lady that pformed CPR did not think they would get his heart started. So, right now things are positive. Prayers will make the difference.

So young for such an event, but hopefully this helps him pull through this. Prayers to your family and those who help him.
Funny how the MOC shrinks the world and makes so many events from others part of our own thoughts. From Rames14 recent retirement announcement and now this. God Bless you all.
