I am BEGGING you....

Someone please pull your DVD stereo out a little and identify the wires for me, too may to mess with using 'ringing out' method.
I know there are many ways to do it, I am asking for help from someone with a similar device green wire to rl or whatever...
They are pairs of wires.
I have a 2006-07 3400 RL.
Thank you in advance.... I will also thank you afterward

OZZ,
You dont really believe that there are two that are wired the same do you. You are going to have to do it the slow way, use a 9 volt battery its really easy.

Ozz,
I recommend the ring out method. I use a 9vdc battery and listen for the speaker to lightly pop. Just remember the label maker and mark the wires. since they are pairs it is not that hard.
Good luck,

Understand, Ozz, retirement doesn't make it all easier, just means you have the time to do it.

Ozz, I can help you out some. The Right Rear (at end of table) is Black & Orange, the Left Rear (at end of couch) is Black & Yellow. I replaced all of my speakers with new and better one therefore I ran new wires to everything except to the rear speakers. The green & black and Red & Black are the two speakers in the bed room.

Ozz, maybe that beer time is what's making it so hard to ring out!

So let me get this straight. You want to get colors from old color blind geezers matched to speaker designations printed as embossed black letters on a black plastic background in a dark stereo closet. Then you want to match up your colors to the black on black writing in your rig using your geezer bifocals in your own dark closet. Assuming you can pull this off you're also trusting that the Keystone Leprechauns who wire these babies use actual plans printed on something other than the palm of their little tiny Leprechaun hands, and that they can read, and that they didn't have a hot date on the day they pulled the wires on yours.

Do I have it right?

Ring it out Oz. You'll save lots of time.

Thank you my friend. That is what I was needing.
I think we are all guilty of not reading the thread before answering, I don't think I could have been clearer in my request, but maybe I could have been clearer.
Jdrobone, at the time we all think the beer makes us more precise, and smarter, and better looking, and bullet-proof...

I couldn't resist after deconstructing my own wires. I don't think it's playing fair for Ozz to ask for the magic decoder ring without serious leg pulling.

Ozz, on my 3000RK I have two green and black, one goes to left bedroom and the other goes to the front living room.
As a retired preacher I hesitate to allow one to have more "beer" time.

Your time helping others has continued into retirement. Thanks for your response.
My entertainment center is getting crowded, I have the Direct TV cables, my X-Box 360, a Sirius Sat. receiver, the DVD Stereo combo, and today, I will be wiring in the cable from my portable sat.

Ozz!! An XBOX 360?? Did you bring some little ones along with you and you need something to keep them occupied...

That is one of the reasons why we go camping, is to get our youngest one away from those @%#& games. But you know the first thing he said when we brought our trailer home was "great now I can hook up my XBOX 360 to it and play games while camping", the result was a resounding "NO"...

Ed, I like the combat games, they have got so sophisticated as of late. The Halo series is fun as well.
There are different settings, Expert, Professional, combat recruit, and "Daddy can I play?"
Guess which level I am playing.... "Thanks Daddy...."

Is your question about the wiring so you can have "surround sound" combat while playing your game?? The neighbors would have second thoughts about coming over and asking to borrow a cup of sugar with all that gun fire going on!!!

He..he..he..
When you have poor hearing to begin with, it's way louder than it should be, I try to be considerate, but I am only human.
I have trouble driving the Hummers and Tanks fast, I generally take the fence-line out and run through the barns.
The old reflexes aren't what they used to be. These games are made for 14 year-old kids.
