MaraBombs made in Alabama

Does anyone know for a fact that the Goodyear Plant down in Gadsen, Alabama is making ST MaraBomb trailer tires? They will have plant code "MD" ... Gadsen, Alabama. I wonder if they will be usable for heavier trailers???

I don't think I would put ST tires on one of these heavy trailers. No matter where it was made it is still a ST tire.

Oh I agree 100% about that ... I was just in a "no holds barred" conversation about where ST tires are made.

The Marathons used to be made in the US, but which plant, I don't know. Now they are made in China and have been for a few years now.

If built to the same technical specs seems to me makes no difference if built in China or Alabama, same inadequate tire.

Very interesting... A person in florida commented that his 2013 Open Range had Marathons that were u.s. made, but I figured someone told him and he didn't know for sure. I failed to check the tire code to see what it said. John

Marathon tires that have the config ST on the sidewalls are from China. There are Marathon tires made in US that are for passenger cars, totally separate division.
