FIX EXTERIOR SIDE

I damaged my montana fifth wheel when I hit a corner of an out building at a campsite.
the result is that it scraped the side (about 2 feet) and gouged a small section (size of a CD) down to the wood underneath.
it chipped the plastic corner piece too.
FOR REPAIRS;
I will buff the scrape to remove any paint cause by building.
I can probably buy the corner piece for replacement (who do I ask?)
I sanded the wood smooth
I epoxed glued a plastic patch over wood so area is sealed.
now I want to smooth area, will probably use bondo?
what kind of paint do I use to hide this patch?

You can always ask your dealer to order the part for you, they should be able to get it since they are an authorized Montana dealer. Ask the dealer what kind of paint to use too, I'm not sure if it's different than paint for cars. Good luck and too bad that happened. Did you damage the building too?

I thought they were fiberglass with gel coating.??? I would check into it just to be safe so that it blends properly.

If you have gel coat you can get a tube of repair gel that will match, if it's a big area or if you don't have gell coat I would find a fiberglass repair shop.
