Well, I just read the info on the IOTA site concerning the IQ4 module. It is very confusing. I have the DLS-75 model in my unit. The features page says the DLS-75 is also available with an IQ smart controller already integrated into the unit. ("available" being the confusing term here) It also features a dual voltage plug which raises the output voltage from 13.6 to 14.2 for rapid charging. The owners manual says that if you have the integrated IQ smart charger then two step charging is not needed and the Dual Voltage Jack is disabled.
When you click on the link for the IQ Smart Charger it states that "Most DLS Models are avialable with the IQ Smart Charger already internally integrated within the unit. (again, how do you know if yours has that option?)
Finally, reviewing the DLS-75 installation manual I discovered that IOTA models with an internal IQ4 smart charger have a green LED on the fan end of the unit that will indicate which charging phase the IOTA unit is in. Since this indicator is "Only on IOTA models with internal IQ4"
So I will check my new converter when I take my unit back to the dealer this week to see if I have the IQ4 or have to add it.
