Deternine Fair market value of Monty
I have a 2008 anniversary 2955RL in perfect condition. What is the best way to arrive a realistic sales price. I ran NADA and it looks off to me.
Thanks

Do a Yahoo, Google or Bing search for the year, make and model number and it will show you what others are asking, Ebay, Craigslist, dealers, etc. It is a good starting point.

You might want to take a look at these guys. I have used them before in appraising my unit when new to determine a good asking price. www.rvs-r-us.com/ They are a "fee for service" company and you might not want to pay them but just another option.....

I think the problem most have using NADA for value of an RV is that they tend to "select" items on the options list that are actually standard on the rig. It's been a long while since I tried it but as I recall that made a huge difference in the value it returned.

I agree with Steve re: NADA. When I was looking a few months ago, nada was all over the board especially when checking those "options" boxes.
I found that searching traderonline.com was the one that helped me the most...but I also found that pricing was affected by location of sale. Bottom line for me was to take an average of 4 or 5 around the area (apples to apples), then average them out.

James,
Take it to a Montana dealer first and see what they will price it for on consignment, Then check out Craig's list. A word of advice, the market is over loaded,I do not know your area, but if you need to sell fast it will need to be 10% to 15% under all others.
I picked up a 2007 2955RL loaded , and used only once for less than whole sale. NADA was 25k to 30k,and delivered to my home which was 2hrs away.
Hope this helps..
