Dig Out to Get Out

Date to leave the snow in MI. looks to be January 4. Kids and grand kids will be gone. Taxes should be done. Wife and I will be over the stress of 14 extra people in the house. We have one more gathering at the inlaws on Dec. 29. Will hook up the 5vr this Saturday and move it up near the house to make final packing easier. We may be near 50 so the snow on the 5vr will melt. This will also give me a straight shot out to the road. I hope the next plow I see will not be a snow plow but a sand plow on Padre Island.

In sulphur Springs Texas last night never got below 72 degrees. Been trying not to turn AC but It is just too hot in the house. It is supposed to cool down today, actually get down to the upper 60's, Brrrrrrrrr.

Supposed to get to 89 deg. today and then a cold front is coming in to bring the low tonight to 59 deg. and it will only be in the 70's tomorrow and the next day. Then back to the 80's.
Drive safe.

Have a safe trip south! We're so jealous. Can't wait until we can do the same...just waiting for the house to sell. In the meantime, we'll keep snowblowing and shoveling here in Wisconsin.
