VuQube with Directv

Has anyone used a VuCube with Directv service North of the border?

Good question.never thought about that. We have used Directtv off our portable sat dish Over 300 miles north of the border. As long as you can see the satellites you should be able to get the picture. The more North you get the lower the Az and that can be a issue. we are 39 degrees here in Northern Ohio about 50 miles from the CAN border.

A VuCube dish is smaller than a regular dish. The Canadian border is at its Southernmost point in Lake Erie. We are above 45 degrees North here in da UP. We are over 300 miles North of Cleveland. I have used my old Hughes Net dish up here but it was a larger dish.

Cube Would not do well north of the border because of its size dish. We use our directll way to AK than nothing in AK

I don't mean to hijack this topic but I have a related question- What results can be expected using VuQube with Dish? Just wondering? Don

You can also use the Vucube with Dish and Bell from Canada. as far as HD I do not think you can get that, Unfortunately I think King Controls had discontinued the 2000 model, why I don't know but works great for us...........Ron
