Shoulder surgery

I have shoulder surgery scheduled for 10/16. Originally it was suppose to be shoulder replacement but good news is that itís been abbreviated to arthroscopic rotator cuff repair to a tear.
Bad news is we may end up spending a third winter home in the cold and snow. Maybe Iíll get lucky and recovery will only take a few months instead of 6-9.

I had that surgery a few years ago. Took about 6 months to get back to golf. Good luck!

I have had both shoulders done and now need one done the second time. It is all of 6 months to get back to original but I have traveled one week after surgery, just get a physical therapist in the area your going and do the exercises the recommend. Some minor pain but mainly just inconvenience, Good luck and do exactly what they tell you to do!!

I had left rotator cuff repair surgery about 12 years ago and was back to work driving truck regionally after 2 weeks but I'm right handed.

Well I guess it's better than the original diagnosis and replacement, Dick! Good luck with the surgery and recovery. Keep us informed on things or have Louise keep us up to date if you can't type for awhile.
