Merry Christmas to all!

More and more society seems to be trying to eliminate “Christ” away from Christmas. I see and hear a lot of people trying to be “politically correct” or for whatever reason and they will say “Happy Holliday’s” or have a “Happy Holliday.” When I’m told that I try and remember to say “Have a Merry Christmas.” Let’s not forget the reason for the season! With that I wish everyone a very "Merry Christmas!"

Thank you for your post. I do not know how politics allows a minority to over power the majority.

We are a diverse country made up of many peoples and many religious beliefs. Freedom of religon is one of the building blocks of this country and that is what makes it great. For Helen and I it is " Merry Christmas" so Merry Christmas From Rich and Helen.

This great country was founded on Christian principles and that's the way it should always be. For those that don't like it...LEAVE

MERRY CHRISTMAS everybody

Gosh Stelrfan,

Your supposedly Christian posting has a decidedly Anti Christian tone! Do you really think this is what Jesus would have said?

I don't think so. If you're going to espouse such a fervent religious belief the least you could do is to follow the tenants of HIS teachings.

And a Happy Holiday to you too. I think I'll stay.

"For those that don't like it...LEAVE???"

Personally I feel everyone has a right to his or her own religious beliefs. One right everyone in this Nation has is Freedom Of Religion. If I were inclined to wish everyone "HAPPY HOLIDAYS" or "SEASONS GREETINGS" that is my right as a Citizen of this GREAT NATION. Not that I would but everyone also has the right to wish everyone a "MERRY XMAS" if they are so inclined.
Even the Agnostic's and Atheist's have the same rights.

Having stated my opinion, should I also state "For those that don't like it...LEAVE."..........NOT

Our founding Fathers must have thought this was pretty important as they made it the first one

"Amendment 1 - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. Ratified 12/15/1791. Note

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

May we celebrate the season in our own way and of our own choosing. Again..Merry Cristmas.
