Hydraulic slideout
Do you have any idea why Montana use hydraulic slideout rather than electric slideout? What if the hydraulic pump fail, how do you close the slideout? Suppose if there is a leaking fluid, I would bet hard to replace rubber hose. Do you often have to drain fluid because of mositure? Do you need to bleed air out? Seem to me lot of work to take care of hydraulic pump. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated it. Thank you.

Rock2,
This has been an often discussed issue on the MOC Forum. If you haven't already done a search you might try that and see what you come up with. The system is a widely used system with very few problems. MIMF will answer all your questions I'm sure.
