5th wheel skirts

I'm thinking of getting a skirt for the Monty in the front around the pin area to store things out of site.I stay at campgrounds for long periods of time and things accumulate.I'm looking at the ones that attach with the hook and loop,I don't want any snaps on the Monty.I'm not sure on the size because of the angle on the back side.
I would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has these.
Well I will go with the snaps, now I have to figure what size I need and where to by them on-line.I'm not a CW enthusiast

I believe Glenn (Glenn and Lorraine) has used one for quite a while.

Yes, we do have a skirt but ours does snap on. Personally I prefer the snaps over velcro. The sticky on velcro will begin to unstick after the sun beats on it for awhile. The snaps stay put.
Not a regular occurrence but it does happen that the snaps, attached to the skirt, will come apart. I do carry a snap kit to replace the occasional snap that pulls apart.

Like you, I was afraid the snaps would be unsightly. However, after installation, they are unobtrusive. I am very satisfied with the outcome. I added one snap on each side toward the bottom edge near the back opening. When we are going to stay for awhile, I put my hitch on a 18"X 24" wheeled mover's dolly and roll it under the skirt out of sight.

We use one....with snaps. We did add some extra snaps. We only use it for long term stays. It provides plenty of easy to get to storage space. It also aids in keeping the front bdedroom and closet warmer as it blocks wind and cold.

Same as Richfaa!!! We really like ours. Snaps are the way to go, especially when the wind starts blowing.

I held off getting any snaps installed on my boat the first couple of years, and now with three tops I have them everywhere and don't even notice them. Just make sure the snaps and the screws/rivets that attached them are all stainless.

We skirted a SOB 5th wheel that we had in 1982 (40 ft) and we used the snaps. I agree with Glenn that the velcro will come loose but the snaps won't. The snaps don't do anything to spoil the looks of the rig. Go for it!!

We are in Moses Lake WA, hubby is still working (on retirement) We travel because of his work and never know what kind of climate we will be in. We had the Montana skirted all the way around while here. It made a big difference in keeping it warm. Ours is made so we can leave the 5th wheel skirt on and remove the rest. As we are fulltimers, the skirt in front sure does make it nice to "stuff, stuff" out of sight. Our previous trailer also was skirted. I did however "cringe" when they were installing the snaps !!!!!
