Good parks in Pigeon Forge

We are going to be staying in Pigeon Forge for a couple of nites in mid October. Anyone have any recommendations on a good, clean park in that area?

You might want to check out Pine Mountain RV park. It is brand new and very well laid out. I think around red light #6. They have some great pictures on their website. I plan to stay there in November. Only drawback I saw was price. The rate for November was $43 per night. Little pricy for my budget.

We’ve never stayed in Creekside but I hear it's really nice. I plan on checking it out later on. I have stayed at Claybough's it seems to be a nice place; a little tight on parking though. Haven’t been there for a few years so I can’t quote any prices, however I think they are reasonable. There is the KOA but I found it to be a bit pricy.

I have been looking at Creekside's web site and it looks pretty decent. Price is not to bad either. Kind of leaning toward it but will check out a few others first. Need to get those reservations made tho. Thanks for responding.

Just checked out Pine Mountain's web site. For 3 nites it would run $170 including tax ($51.00 a nite). A little rich for my blood. It does look nice tho.

Try the Eagle's Nest on Wears Valley Road (Hwy321). It is about a mile off the parkway. It is a Passport America Park. PA rates for 30 Amp sites are $19/night including tax. We stay there 4 or 5 times a year.

P.S The picture of our coach below was made there.

Mark,
Creekside is a nice stop and not far from all that's going on even Dollywood isn't far. The park has all the amenities and runs about $35 in October per nite or a little more if you want a pullthru spot. We enjoy going there. Enjoy. Dennis

Thanks everyone for responding. I think we're gonna give the Creekside Park a try. Really looking forward to our trip. From there we are going over to Asheville,NC and check out the Biltmore then drop down to Charleston,SC for a couple of days. Take Care.

Mark let us know how your stay was at Creekside. I need a place to stay in November and Creekside is on my short list.

We also stayed at Creekside a few years back. The trolly comes thru the campsite so you can park the truck and ride it to the different shows and resturants. Just be sure you tell them how long your RV is. I didn't, and the rear of our Montana(thats what we were pulling at that itme} was sticking out over the creek. I would go back again.....Ken

Mark, if you do go to the Biltmore @ Asheville, they have an extra that did cost $7. per person with a headset and you get more info or history of the Vanderbilt that built it. There is of course a personal guided tour that may cost more. If I recall correctly the food places on site are in an old horse stable. Asheville is a nice city with food right downtown that is also good. I-40 can bring you right in from the West, if you go to Pigeon Forge first. Apple season will be on during your stay as well in the area...many orchards in the area. Dennis
