Garmin Customer Service

Just had a problem with the touch screen on my Garmin 2730. As usual it is out of warranty by 3 months. Called Garmin and without any discussion other than asking them to cover the problem under warranty, they agreed. It's nice to see they are a customer service company. Because they did this, I am ordering a Garmin 7500 for the TV and putting the 2730 in my Tahoe.

Good to hear they are customer focused and that generates new and repeat business. More companies need to realize that!

I just purchased a Garmin 350 Nuvi which has the older V8 maps. I just got off the phone with Garmin. I was told the updated 2008 map disc will be automatically sent to those registered units purchased recently at the end of Aug. I must say this appears to be one of the most "customer focused" businesses I've ever dealt with (I'll see next month). What a refreshing experience (for a change) !!

I live within 50 miles of their Olathe, Kansas facility. When I have a problem with fish locators or GPS downloads etc. I head down there. go to the back door. Tell the guys a tall rv tale, AND THEY FIX IT..... Great company Great People. AND BY THE WAY WERE GREAT CUSTOMERS.... SO it's a MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN. ho ho ho. Oh they are going to have all their GPS units home in on BRANSON FOR MAY 2008... Just turn it on. I need your help there. and I am counting on you....... safe travels my friends John
