Getting close to RGV time!

Well, closer for some than for ole Carol and Al and the yorks.

Anywhooooooooo

There are a number of MOCer's that are already in the Valley or will be shortly, you might have enough that you could enjoy a November get together.

Ahhhhhhh, but you need to arrange it yourselves. This post is a reminder that ole Carol resigned as your activities director. OH OH Besides the fact that the CountryGuy and his Mrs. will not arrive in the Valley till after the 1st of January.

For the January, February and March gatherings we need a volunteer to book a restaurant or find a nice room for a pot luck dinner. I guarantee if you post a time and place and event, they will come!

We have tried to keep the gatherings to the 3rd Thursday of the month, so that everyone knows what week to count on (specially those that only have a short time in the Valley). Thursdays are a good day as there are not as many planned activites at the parks, and the flea markets are closed!

Other activities, such as museum trips, etc, that I did last year, can be done again, if someone wants to organize (simple, a few phone calls and the deed is done, post here and they will come!) Thursdays, again, are good for extra curricular activities.

God willing, CountryGuy and I look forward to seein ya all in the Valley right after the 1st of January 2007!!

If you want to organize a luncheon, but have questions, Bill and Ann can be a great help, or contact ole Carol.

We are here and loving it. The dogs are in seventh heaven at the dog park here at BPV. I like all the interesting and nice folks, shopping and activities, Steve loves the Internet connection and the great satellite shot. Thanks Carol and others for the suggestion to come here. Kim

Enjoy it for us Bill and Ann,

It is 35 here, mild wind, dank, I went out for errands and hoped to do some cemetery work. I did the errands, the other, BLAH!

We have safely arrived at Victoria Palms. Are in site 2277 until the end of January, then onto Arizona. The weather is beautiful --- sunny, warm, with a bit of breeze. Just lovin' it. Park is only about half full at this time with new arrivals slowly coming in everyday. Tomorrow our first trip crossin' the boarder for fun and a cold one!!

Vicki, your old neighbors in VP will miss seeing you guys this year. We'll be in Arizona in Feb. and Mar. Maybe we'll cross paths. Don't have tooooooo much fun in old Mejico.

We are loaded up to start our journey south tomorrow heading for the RGV. First we will spend a week in Norman OK. with our grandson, then one month with our son and family. Then the first of the year heading for the RGV, but first will try to meet up with CHARLIE along the way. Will be looking forward to seeing all the great MOC members in the valley. Larry & LaVonne
