Lost

Ever have one of these days? We have had a couple of nice showers here lately and the coastal grass is trying to come back in the pasture behind the house. Another shower or two and it should support some grazing for 25 or 30 calves. So I thought I would check out the fences so we wouldn't have a jail break. Found some areas that needed attention. Headed up to the shop to get my hammer, fence staples and stretchers. I stroll into the shop and walk over to the pegboard where I ALWAYS keep my tools. No hammer. I launch a search, while searching for the hammer I found some other things I had been looking for earlier in the week, dont remember why. Put them on the work bench and will get back to that. Finally found my hammer and was walking to the peg board to put it up. Wait a minute, I needed this for something. Here I am wondering around in my shop, hammer in hand, trying to remember why I needed it. Nothing in here, went outside, now its dark. Oh well, maybe tomorrow.

That just happened to me yesterday. But I still don't remember what was. Something about a rag to wipe up something but I ran into some tools I had been wondering about and at least I remembered to put these tools back where they belong.

I am pleased to read that you remembered what you were doing.

I’ve heard of these types of characteristics before;
I believe it’s referred to as “Old Timers” disease!
Occasionally, I’m affected as well!

Hey-look on the bright side. At least you remembered where the pegboard was!

"Brain Fart" in my book. we have so many things going on up there that it gets shoved somewhere else in the pile.
