Mountaineer hot water bypass

Cane anyone out there tell me where the hot water by pass valve is on my '06 Mountaineer (early model) 329RLS? I want to de-winterize my coach and I can't remember if its in the basement storeage area, or where the batter box is stored.
Thanks in advance,
Jim

I believe it may be right at the hot water heater.

you will have to unscrew the left wall of the cabinet and the bypass valve will be right behind it

I just finished making an access door today in that wall, so that in the future I won't have to disassemble the cabinet to reach the valve.

I can reach in behind a half-wall under my kitchen sink right next to the hot water heater and turn the by-pass valve. I can't see it but I can get my hands on it to turn.

You may already know this but it's easy to forget... there should be a tube that runs between the hot water out line and the cold water in line. The water flows the direction of the valve handle. If it is parallel to that line, then the heater is bypassed. Parallel to the cold water in line and water flows into the water heater. I got tired of always having to experiment and finally figured this out.
