Antenna leak
I've been having leakage problems from my tv antenna during rainstorms. The leak comes down through the handle. Is there a quick and easy fix for this problem or do I have dis-assemble it and replace parts?

I would first try Dicor sealant around all possible leak areas of the antenna base including connections for the RG-6. It is hard to determine where water is leaking from.
If that does not work, most RV store have repair kits for the antenna and they are not hard to install. Usually they come with directions. I just replaced my gear shaft and it was not hard to do.

First I would go up on the roof to check the rubber boot that goes over the wire coming into the RV. Mine worked up and I just pushed it back into place and no more leak.

I concur with RonS.
That little rubber boot was the problem with mine. I worked some sealant down under the boot before replacing it. I also thought about clamping the boot with a small hose clamp.
Wish you well

I had the same problem in a previous unit(not Montana) and like above it was the boot. I added a little silicone sealant to keep it in place.

Had the same problem with our 2000 Montana. Don't know how that little rubber boot works its way loose, but it does. I like the idea of a little silicone sealant under it before you push it down. This will help to keep it in place.

Thanks all. I made it up on the roof today and sho 'nuff the boot was loose. Made the silicon injection and replaced the boot. It rained about an hour ago and so far no leak.
