Does Anyone Have A RBW Hitch?????

We decided to go with RBW because our local RV Service people sell it and it was what we had before and performed very well for many, many years. The service center has a package deal right now for the RBW and Prodigy brake controller.
Happy trails.......................

I have an RBW in the "Dually". This is the third truck this hitch has had the pleasure to occupy...! I love the longitudnal rails that run "north to south" in the bed. I just slide out the support frame & head and the slide rails remain in place. RBW has great customer support not to mention a very good product.

I picked up an almost new RBW Little Rocker hitch awhile back. Replaced my old Reese with it. I really like the side to side pivot that my Reese did not have. The RBW fit right into the existing Reese rails without any modification. The RBW seems to latch much easier than the Reese and I am very satisfied with it.

My first FW hitch was the older style RBW and the second was the Lil Rocker from RBW. RBW has been around a long, long time and, in my book, makes a good hitch. I don't know how it is today but I used to see more RBW hitches than any other brand, including Reese. That was about ten years ago so maybe it's changed but they're still a good hitch in my estimation.

We had the Lil Rocker before. I think what happened (this is after several hours of research) Reese did a really good PR job and got RV dealers to handle their product so when you buy a new FW and the hitch is included in the deal, Reese was the one that went in. When I looked for Reese in a 100 mile area here, it was all RV dealers. When we bought the Monty, we already had the hitch so it wasn't included in our deal. Thanks for the comments and making us feel like we are on the OK path.
Happy trails................

I always liked the Lil Rocker I have.
Its easy to tell if the hitch is locked. It has a solid bar that slides in place behind the pin. No guessing if the jaws are locked or not like some of the other hitches.

I had an older RBW,liked it especially the rails, but I wanted a pivot head. So I got the "Little Rocker", from the start I would find one side or the other locked or unlocked. The dealer didn't seem to think it was a problem. Even though I waxed it and kept it clean, after 2 years the paint started peeling.

Another dealer gave me a good deal on a used Reese 20K and sold my LR for $150.

I have a basic one now and have had it for three different trailers and 3 new trucks. It has held up really well. I too like it for the rails that run front to back. Leaving the center area open to slide stuff in without lifting it over the rails. I took mine apart this last year and had it bead blasted and repainted as it was getting a little rough looking. It's probably real close to 10 years old. and I have had no problems with it what so ever. If I had to buy a new one today I would look for one just like it.

On my hitches I have the rails running wheel well to wheel well. I have the 3/4" thick rubber mat cut out around the rails and it almost brings the floor level with the top of the rails. Do not have any problem hauling anything on top of the rails and the rubber mat. The mats are very heavy and made from recycled tires. Mine are in two pieces with the joint about half way between the rails.
