Buttoning down the hatches!!!

I spent all morning stowing away all the loose items on the porches and patio, fueled up the generator and took the cover off the Montana. As things look now, we are in the bullseye of Katrina here in south Mississippi. We went through Camille in '69 (200+ MPH gusts). This "Lady" is now bigger and faster with a lower central pressure than Camille had the same distance from shore. I felt sure I would never see another Category 5 in my lifetime - WRONG !!!

At times the cold of Norhern WI and the early winters get to me, but then when I watch the hurricanes and tornadoes and other bad weather conditions on the 6 o'clock news I thank my lucky stars. I think I'll hang out here in Northern WI for awhile until things calm down. God be with you in the Gulf Coast.
