You should state whether you have a single rear wheel or duals. You can do this by filling out your signature, also including info on your trailer as well as you truck info.

If you search, you'll find this has been discussed many times. Note than when searching, it only goes back a year unless you search the archives.

The last two sets of tires that I have had on the truck I have gotten at Costco and they have been the Michelin LTX M/S. I am very happy with them and got 60,000 miles out of the first set.

Hi Brian,

They track great, even on cement roads with the water groves in them. Probably the best tires I have ever had on a truck and I have always had a truck. JMHO

I've had the same tires as Rich on my last two dodges. I haven't hauled the monty yet, but hauled trailers as long and as heavy with no problems out of the michelins. One set I even pushed to 75K, but generally I get 60K+ on 'em. I get them thru either sam's club or walmart. sam's club has always had them in stock, last set walmart ordered and had them in two days.

I got two Michelin LTX AT and two RIB's . Both track straight and true. 20 - 30,000 miles on them so far with LOTS of tread left.

Dodge came with Michelin LTX AT and this is my first experience with Michelins. Tracked great. I went by the Michelin book and changed inflation depending on whether or not the Monty was hooked up. Finally replaced them with another set of Michelins. Only got 105,679 miles on the first set. Now have 32,389 on the second set and don't seem to show much wear. Think I'm happy with Michelin?

I also think the Michelin LTX M/S are the best tire I've used for towing. A friend swears by his LTX A/T's
When I bought the Monty, I traded my Chevy 2500HD ( with the LTX's) for an '06 GMC dually which came with brand new Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor tires.
The Goodyears are very good when new in snow (they are winter rated) BUT wear very quickly when towing, yet have a 6 year or 50,000 mile tread guarantee.

I've also used BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A's which were also winter rated, wore not quite as fast as the Goodyears, and have no mileage warranty.
I have approx 18000 miles on the Silent Armor's, and they are 2/3 worn. Others who used these tires told me the same thing, so it's not my particular tires.

When these wear out, I'm going back to Michelin LTX's
