It'll tell you on the side wall of the tire. When hauling the RV, I run max...in the RV and the truck.

80 # on the rear, 65 # on the front for me, hauling or not. May be different from others, but you asked for info so I am relaying what I do, not that I recommend it, I would go with what is recommended by the tire and the vehicle.

We run 75 psi on the fronts and 65 psi on the rear dualls, they are E rated 17 tires and the above is what the cab sticker recommends for the F 350. Have 9700 miles on the truck and tires with the majority of towing and have had no problems with temp or wear, plus gives exceptional ride.

I run Hercules 235 85 R16 Terra Trac's on the duals which are E rated. The truck door sticker says 60 psi front and back. However ... I run 55 psi in my duals as if I run 60 psi or higher it just wears the middle out of the tires leaving good tread towards the sides. 60 psi in the Firestone front tires. My fiver is a 2980RL which does have a little heavier pin weight.

We had the same problem running the high end at what the side wall said. Started wearing the middle leaving the sides. The door jam will tell you the tire pressure recommendations for your max load. I think ours is 65psi. It rides better as well. It doesn't beat you up as much.

Running tires at the maximum sidewall tire pressure is NOT always a wise idea. Ideally, you should weigh the truck and trailer and inflate accordingly, but in lieu of that, go by the manufacturer's recommendations found on the door jamb. Over inflated tires ride rough, wear fast and provide less traction on wet/slippery roads.

I still have the original tires on my dually. The door sticker says 66 front, 60 back. That's what I use. Rotate every 5K. At 21K my tires still look like new. No uneven wear.

I ran 80front/65 rear loaded, & 65front/50 rear unloaded. I just replaced the original BFG rugged trails with 75k miles on them. They wore great and even across the tread. Differant campers may require some minor adjustments as mine is loaded heavy when we go camping, and is used as a daily driver this winter as we are getting hammered here this winter.

Just checked my door and it is 65 front and 60 rear. I ran 60-65 in the front and 55 in the rear when I towed my 7K SOB. Will probably go 60 in the rear with the Monty. Will just have to see what it looks like with the load on it. Thanks

I run what the door sticker says for my truck which is 70 front & 65 rear. I also run 65 oin the trailer tires which is what the sticker on the trailer recommends. I have done it by the sidewall recommendatin and found that it really pounds the trailer & truck. I (Knock on wood, have not had any tire issues since 2003 although I did replace the trailer tires at 5 years and new truck tires this year at 55,000.
