Slide out alignment 08 Montana 3400RL

From looking at the Lippert manual, I know that there are horizonal and vertical adjustments on the slideouts. My issue is with the large dining room/living room slideout on the curb side of the unit. When it retracts, the upper left top of the slide out stays about 2.5" from the side of the trailer. The upper right top and both bottom sides go all the way in.

When retracting it, you see the slider tilt up as it goes in on that side. Does this sound like some sort of obstruction it is riding up on? (I can't see any)_Or does it sound like I just need to adjust the vertical alignment on that side with the vertical adjustment bolt?

Thanks again.

When the slide is out are both upper corners flush to the wall inside?

Slide out

My kitchen slide does the same, wind her out then return her in half way and then go outside, measure both sides at the same hight between inside the trim with seals to the outside wall see if they are the same.
I have moved the rack a few times to keep them going in square the gear do jump.

daveinaz, I just re-read your post and I think you might be on to something. The entire slide should rise up evenly as it goes over the threshold into the trailer, but one side going up unevenly might indicate something on the threshold. You could lift the carpet flap and look at the threshold while the slide is out to check. Or just bring it in an inch or two and look under the flap again to see if there is any problem.
There are endless stories of things getting stuck there, shoes, dog toys, water bottles etc.
If it comes in evenly at the bottom that indicates that it probably is not a jumped gear.

It comes in evenly at the bottom. And as best as I can recall, everything was flush on the inside when it was extended.

When I get the hose repaired, I'll run it out halfway like you said and check.

I'm not sure, I think so. When I get the hose repaired and can extend the slides, I'll check.
