Added Two More Solar Panels
With the price down on the PVL-68 panels, I grab two more which is all I had room for. The price with shipping of the two panels was $304.00 (136 Watts) from RecycleGoods.com.
Had a really hard time getting the backing off, don't know if it was because to the temperature or that they were sitting around for sometime. I put the other panels on in March 2010, and don' remember having to work so hard. They are down now, and now I am at 544 Watts (40-50 Amps to batteries depending on battery voltage).

Nice Job, Thanks for inspiring me to go solar. Glad that part is done and my roof is covered.

Tom,
Yes you can walk on them with soft soles. They are stronger than the rubber roof. They warn you they are slippery when wet.

Hi Stan,
Yes if you have a metal or rubber roof you can stick them on it.
Price have really come down, I may look at adding some glass panels to the house, just have to figure out what the HOA will allow. The front of the house is South facing and that will never fly with the HOA. I am think of a covering for the back deck made out of solar panels, but will need to check the Sun when it has move far South to see if it is doable since I have a high pitched roof.

We are thinking of going solar...do you have pictures? Why did you choose this type vs. Panels?
