TPMS

I am in the process of ordering a TPMS for my 3400RL and could use some input. Do I need to order additional booster to get a strong and consistant signal? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Don

We do not. We have the monitor mounted in the truck so that the antenna is above the dashborad level. We have never had a problem in nearly 4 years.

I have the TST system. Comes with two antennas, one stubby and one on a long cord. I haven't needed the long range antenna. My unit is mounted in the center of the dash. Works great.
you can see a pic of mine mounted in the truck. Just click the link in my signature "Our travels and things" and go to mods.

Hope this helps, kevin

Don, We have used our Pressure Pro for 4 years without a booster. I recommend that you skip it--try it out before to see if it is needed. Our receiver is attached to the dash with the antenna above the dashboard.
Hope to see you down the road somewhere.

Tim and Susan

Same here. The TST monitor sits on my dash pad with a bit of velcro and I get a good signal.

We have a Hawkshead tpms and I don't need the booster. When I installed it I walked about 20 ft. in front of the truck and still got a good signal.
