Sofa

Has anyone replaced sofa and if so, was getting old one out door and new one in door a problem.

I'm considering replacing one, and just wondered before proceeding.

Thanks

We have a 3650 that has a J-Couch and replaced it with a couch from a furniture store. Taking the old one out was very easy as it came apart in all the right place to let my wife and I carry it right out the door. As far as the new one I had the store delivery it and they had no problem putting it into place. The replacement is sooo comfortable.

Our son just carted ours out today, as we ordered a new love seat and 2 recliners. Ours is a 3455SA, a year old, but furniture just wasn't cutting it. It was tricky getting the old sofa out, but the guys stood it on end and jockeyed it side to side and it went out with little trouble. Darn thing was very heavy and did not come apart, so you need a couple of strong guys. The door is taller than the sofa is long so that helped. We ordered the new stuff from a regular furniture store and it will be delivered Saturday.

Hi, we also got a new sofa, from raymore and flanagan. just make sure to bing your measuring tape to the store, and also check to see if the couch you like may have removable feet. we took them off of the original sofa and also stood it on end and jockied it out. It was actually easier to get the new sofa in, than the old one out! once you get a regular, comfy, longer couch in there, you'll be in heaven!

When we got our Montana it didn’t have any furniture in it. We went to a furniture store and purchased a queen size hide-a-bed. We drove with the Montana to the furniture store and they loaded it. It didn’t appear to be a problem getting it in through the door for them.

I haven't replaced one, but I was planning on it when I purchased one. I just posted it on the for sale part of the MOC site.

Chuck D, Is your furnace behind that couch? My 04 3650 has the furnace under it and I was wondering how to deal with that. Suggestions?

Noggs...No they moved the furness, I believe in the 06 model to the basement, kinda under the shower. Its in a good location now, I have heard others complain about the noise with the ones under the couch. We have a little noise but nothing bothersome. We are VERY happy with this unit overall.
