Scare lights

Our scare lights have yellowed to the point that they are very dim. And, did I mention rust? They have the painted base, and we are next to the bay, so they are rusty. I found some online, and one of my friends ordered some. Very nice lights, and they have the stainless steel base. So, I finally ordered two. Twenty six bucks shipped to the RV Park. Just in case anyone else needs some, here is the link: http://www.etrailer.com/pc-~RVSL21.h...utm_medium=ppc

Great info for those of us with aging units. Anything older than 2010 is now an aging unit.

Prior to '05, Montanas came with the stainless steel scare lights. I have a pair that I salvaged from a wrecked '04 Montana. The lenses do yellow though, but they can be bought for a few dollars each.

I have a 2005 and yes my lens have yellowed. So did the lights on my 1999 Dodge Truck. I have used BLUEMAGIC, headlight lens restorer on the truck and it did a good job. I am not sure this would work on the scare lights. John were can you just buy the lens? Althrough, if you can buy the whole assembly for $10 that is probably the best way to go. Has anyone tried a cleanser on the scare lights?

When they get old they are called "Mellow" lights.
They don't blind the neighbor in his bedroom.
